MEASURES TO REDUCE THE DUST CONTENT OF THE WORKING AREA

Abstract

The article is devoted to the development of pedestrian spaces of cities in certain historical periods. Today, one of the main problems of a modern city is the creation of a balanced and comfortable environment for a person. In recent years, urban traffic has become more efficient, and pedestrian spaces have gradually disappeared.

Historical analysis makes it possible to identify stable compositional and spatial structures of modern pedestrian spaces. The organization of pedestrian spaces is a priority task of modern urban planning. The pedestrian communication system is one of the main components of a comfortable urban environment, and together with the transport infrastructure makes up a single communication transport and pedestrian system of the city.

The purpose of the article is to collect, analyze and systematize material on the formation of public pedestrian spaces in a historical context and their connection with green areas.

Tasks:

- identification of historical prerequisites for the formation of pedestrian spaces of public centers of cities;

- analysis of the evolution of the development of public pedestrian spaces;

The article revealed the prerequisites for the formation of pedestrian spaces of public centers of cities. In the process of studying historical experience, the evolution of the development of pedestrian spaces from Antiquity to the present day was analyzed, which made it possible to visually consider the development of pedestrian spaces and their typology. In addition to the typology, the functions that have been formed in pedestrian spaces throughout history were also considered, which led to the emergence of multifunctional pedestrian spaces.

In the work carried out, pedestrian structures were identified depending on the historical period, their relationship with green areas was determined.
