FEATURES OF FORMATION AND PROSPECTIVE EVALUATION OF THE GOLD-QUARTZ MINING OF TASKORA (EAST KAZAKHSTAN)

Abstract

The purpose of this scientific article is to describe the features of the formation of the Taskora gold-quartz mineralization and the subsequent prospective assessment of this deposit. The paper raises the problem of strengthening and developing the mineral resource base of East Kazakhstan. The relevance of this problem is due to the fact that the fund of easily extractable deposits of native gold will last for the first decades. The practical significance lies in replenishing the mineral resource base of the region. The article provides brief information about the geological structure of the region, reveals the features of the formation of mineralization, the results of prospecting and exploration work, describes the ore bodies, and gives a prospective assessment of mineralization.
