Abstract

In the article, based on the analysis of the workflow of a milling-rotor snowplow (FRS), the optimal conditions for transporting snow from the screw feeder blade to the thrower are determined, which make it possible to minimize the energy intensity of the snow dispersal process by the thrower. It was also found that when determining the value of traction resistance and evaluating the technical performance of a milling-rotor snowplow, it is necessary to take into account the thickness of the developed snow cover and the increase in the height of the snow face due to the forward ejection of snow by the FRS screw feeder.
