This article deals with the causes of damage to the building structures of a five-story brick block of flats built in mountainous terrain. The engineering and geological conditions of the construction site and design solution for the artificial base course are analyzed. Describes the inevitability of ground subsidence due to engineering errors and technological violations of work rules. The nature of damage to the dwelling house and its technical condition are analyzed. Methods for rebuilding and reinforcing building structures are proposed.
