JUSTIFICATION OF THE CHOICE OF THE SUPPORTING STRUCTURE OF AN AUTONOMOUS STATION FOR MONITORING AVALANCHE-PRONE AREAS OF THE EAST KAZAKHSTAN REGION

Abstract
Currently existing methods of observing snow avalanches in the East Kazakhstan region do not provide a timely and complete picture of the accumulation and moment of snowfall. To solve this problem, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University is developing a modern automated monitoring system for avalanche-prone areas of East Kazakhstan region. It involves remote monitoring of the accumulation of snow masses using devices mounted on load-bearing structures directly on avalanche-prone areas. To install such a structure, it is necessary to decide on the choice of the type of structure and the material from which it is made. To solve this problem, the Codes of Rules of the Republic of Kazakhstan and products offered on the metal structures market used for the installation and operation of telecommunications equipment and cellular radiotelephone communication equipment, for meteorological systems and observations, for antenna structures, etc. were considered. The article presents the normative parameters of impacts on the territory of East Kazakhstan region (wind, snow, ice, etc.), according to which load-bearing structures are selected or designed, mast structures recommended by the norms of the Republic of Kazakhstan are considered, and a comparison of structures presented by manufacturers of metal structures on the market is performed.
