Editorial Policy

Editorial Policy of the Academic Journal

  1. Journal Title: Bulletin of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University.

  2. Purpose: to provide an opportunity to publish original and previously unpublished research results, promote their public discussion, and develop scientific cooperation with national and international scholars.

  3. Objectives:
    • to foster new perspectives based on current scientific approaches and academic discourse that considers diverse opinions;
    • to publish manuscripts by Kazakhstani and foreign authors to encourage scholarly exchange and expand scientific partnership;
    • to enhance the quality of peer review through collaboration with reputable national and international experts;
    • to ensure full-text access to research articles and increase the journal’s visibility and openness in Kazakhstan and abroad.

  4. Languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.

  5. Publication Frequency: 4 issues per year (March, June, September, December).

  6. Publisher: Non-profit Joint-Stock Company “D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University”.

  7. Subject Areas:
    • engineering and engineering sciences;
    • information and communication technologies;
    • architecture and construction.

  8. Distribution: Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad.

  9. Format: print and online versions.

  10. Peer Review Type: double-blind peer review.

  11. Issue Requirements:
    • each issue must contain articles by international authors, including those written in foreign languages (especially English);
    • at least 50% of the articles must be submitted by authors not affiliated with the publisher;
    • no more than one article per author per issue, including co-authorship;
    • each article must not exceed five authors.

  12. Archiving and Access:

    Manuscripts are submitted through the journal website: Vestnik in accordance with the criteria specified in the Author Guidelines.

    Electronic versions of articles are archived in the Archive section of the website. The editorial board ensures the preservation of the archive and reserves the right to provide open access to full-text content or article abstracts.
