EVALUATE AND RESILIENCE FORECAST OF SAZHAEVSK LIMESTONE OPEN PIT WAIIS USING GEOINFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

Abstract.  Based on the assessment of the actual state of the benches and of the open pit walls, the determination of the strength properties of the rocks, the study of the fracturing of the massif, the kinematic analysis of the stability of the benches, the safe parameters of the design contours of the Sazhaevsky limestone open pit were established by calculation on the models. Recommendations were issued to ensure stability and monitor the state of benches and  the open pit walls.
